Needle in a haystack

The needle in a haystack was a tiny baby tooth in a gravel driveway.

One day I was drawn to a story about someone losing a rubber boot in the mud in a very hard place to find it, they had been hiking around all day. They didn’t give up and kept looking throughout the day. One man did the quiet time and was lead to the boot.

That story made me think of the time my grand daughter dropped her tooth in our gravel driveway. I told my grand daughter lets pray and ask God to help us find it, so we did. I really wanted to find that tooth but in my heart I new I would find it. I wanted my grand daughter to see that when you ask you receive if you believe.  The people around me had their doubts that I would find it, but I was determined that the tooth would be found. I felt a peace in my heart that we would find that tooth. I did find that tooth. And it didn’t take a long time either. My grand daughter was so very happy and everyone was amazed.

I do this all of the time when I need to find something. I ask and I quiet my mind with my eyes closed until I feel a release to start looking. It only takes a few mins and about 98% of the time I find it. There are times when I feel that it is gone in a place I will not be able to retrieve it. So I have to let if go.

I used to spend hours, even days looking for the thing I lost. Don” give up hope if you have lost something, or if you are discouraged because you are not receiving what you want fast enough.  It will come if you have faith, never give up and keep plugging along.

Doing the baby steps of faith will give you all you wish to have. Have a great day.  🙂
